Marketing Leadership

 

     As Senior Marketing Manager, he was recently responsible for leading the IBM global demand generation programs supporting the Banking, Insurance and Financial Markets Industries.
 
     Before joining the Global Demand Programs team, Dub led the development of global marketing programs for the Chemicals & Petroleum Industry, the Electronics Industry, and the Energy & Utilities Industry. Duane Dub also served dual roles as global and America’s marketing manager for an Emerging Business Opportunity unit focused on Wireless Broadband and Sensors & Actuators, which leverages RFID and other wireless technologies across various industries.
 
     Previously at IBM he managed the North American Direct Marketing efforts for the Year 2000 project and demand generation activities to the Small & Medium Businesses. His campaign and management efforts there won for him recognition and numerous awards both from IBM and the industry. He also served as the North American Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Lead for both the Personal Computing Division and Sectors and Industries.
 
     Before joining IBM, he was a Managing Director at R. L. Polk & Company in charge of the Chrysler Corporation and Volkswagen of America accounts.

 

     His career also included agency support to clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Mead Johnson Pharmaceuticals, and Citizens Bank Corp. He also served in various advertising and marketing positions for Tatham, Laird & Kudner Advertising, The Detroit Free Press, Lexitel Corporation, and the Wolf Detroit Marketing Group.

 

Currently he is an adjunct instructor in the College of Business at Eastern Michigan University and an Instructor in the Integrated Marketing Communications Online Graduate Program in the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University.
